Suspect in DC Dinner Attack Spent Several Years Acquiring Guns

The tone of this article is really weird. The guy bought two guns, a shotgun eight months ago and a pistol two years ago, and they make it sound like an American buying two guns over two years is inherently suspicious or evidence he planned it for a long time. They also call it an “arsenal.”

Here is a stupid Bloomberg headline: "Gunman in DC Gala Attack Built Up Arsenal to Target US Officials" Dude bought a 12 gauge last year and a handgun in 2023. He's barely an average American. Not an arsenal. And the article makes no mention of him purchasing the guns in furtherance of a plot.
