ON YOUR WATCH, hatred of minorities is rising. A minority is being harassed, verbally & physically attacked, driven to the outskirts of political participation. Should you defend the minority against hate? Or will you stay silent, because they're Jews? Gift. 1/3 www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
There is genuine rising antisemitism in the US, and there is also a rise in legitimate criticism of the state of Israel, and it is important to try to sort between them. This article does not do a particularly good job with that. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
Some people in this article are describing being targeted for being Jewish, and some are describing feeling uncomfortable with the fact that the Democratic Party is becoming more anti-Israel, and it is imperative at this moment in history that we distinguish those. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
Attacks on Jews, who tend to vote Democratic, are a problem for the party. A LW op hounds candidates, including Black Dems, for accepting Jewish donations, hurting their ability to win. Elected Jewish Dems have their homes vandalized, their lives threatened. 2/3 www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u... Antisemitism in the US (or France) is exactly what Netanyahu & cohort want (& even encourage), namely the idea that to be a Jew is to be a Zionist or automatic supporter of Israel. Interesting that the NYT didn't bother to get quotes from senators Sanders or Ossoff
‘Excruciating and Agonizing’: A New Reality for Jewish Democrats With Israel increasingly unpopular and antisemitism on the rise, Jewish politicians find themselves more and more under attack. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
The @nytimes.com continues its propaganda campaign against any israel critic. An article about Jewish democratic candidates confronted with the timely rejection of israel has the following words in its html page: "jewish-democrats-antisemitism-israel".
This is what I have been feeling and seeing - who what do we Jewish dems do? www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
this piece is brutal in the traditional sense for nyt not brutal because of the content (which itself is real brutal) but brutal because of framing and interviewing the least helpful people to speak on the issue, voices who will further cement far-left/right opinion that this harassment was valid.

When “anti-Zionism” is actually anti-Semitism “Let’s remember Jews brought this all upon themselves” www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...

The Zionists have conflated Judaism and the state of Israel for so long that many [wrongly] believe they are one in the same. We must separate right-wing political extremism from religion and condemn those who would insist on mixing the two. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/29/u...
‘Excruciating and Agonizing’: A New Reality for Jewish Democrats “The idea that you could have someone mainstream who was hostile to Israel was a nonstarter in politics then, but that script has flipped,” “Now support for Israel is regarded with a base line suspicion by much of the Democratic base.
