Turns out the military we spent $25 trillion on since 1980 is struggling against one that spent maybe 2% of that with extensive sanctions on it the whole time. Every defense contractor should be nationalized (with shareholders sued to recover fraud losses), the war-profits-first model doesn't work.

At least we're only breaking out this experimental (?) weapon because we've already won the war. Even using this thing... let alone seeing any actual adversary see the thing in action for no good reason, and if there's any wreckage, they'll get to see that... Even big war fans think this is dumb.

According to Bloomberg (reliable source) the Iranians have moved their missile launchers out of range of US strike missiles, so US military wants to use super-secret hypersonic weapon that Russia and China already have. The US version has been running behind schedule. This would see it in action.
