Mixed feelings on this bc the Iowa Flood Center is an awesome resource (for Iowa) but this should be available at the national scale run by a robust federally-funded agency. Also seems to rely on a very dedicated civil engineer mayor, which not every town has. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/01/o...
