Oh, yes. Let's wipe our memories of the fate of so many 'paper millionaires' in the dotcom payouts: going into debt because they could not afford the taxes on share sales; holding on to shares until they vest, only to watch the value collapse against market realities; all the fun of a goosed IPO.
The worst people in the world are touting the stats in this article. I guess im no expert but I don’t think creating a relatively small amount of millionaires is an economic or moral good! It’s certainly not worth the economic/moral bad of elevating one (awful) man to Trillionaire status.
