RIP 🙏 Dito van Reigersberg (53), actor, drag artist, cofounder of experimental Pig Iron Theater Company, known for its surreal and carnivalesque productions, died June 1. His husband confirmed that graft-versus-host disease (a complication of his bone-marrow transplant) and pneumonia were the cause.

How lucky are we to have shared this earth with someone whose light shone as bright as Dito’s? He was a genius and a genuinely good human whose absence is deeply felt by all of us who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.
