The irony here is that writing Gen. 9:12 on your cap is predicated on a misreading/mistranslation of the verse. God sets his "bow in the clouds" -- but "bow" (qesheth in Hebrew) refers to a weapon, a war or battle bow, not a rainbow. God is setting aside warring vengeance, not creating a rainbow.
