As Midterms Rage, a Top Democrat Wants Congress to Talk Menopause Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is devoting a hearing to a topic that affects millions but is poorly understood and widely ignored, including when it comes to federal research money.

As a post menopausal woman who suffered greatly, I agree this is critically important. But at a time when we’re looking at the catastrophic potential of AI and a tanking economy, this is just another example of how out of touch the DEM establishment is right now. She needs to resign.

I know I shouldn't read the comments, but ... So many of the comments: Why is congress wasting time talking about menopause? Every time it is about women's health: No a priority. Pre Dobbs: Reproductive health care is a women's issue. Not a priority. And women die.
