Startling stat — a police officer in a small Texas town handed arrested and handed over immigrants to ICE at such volume that the total number is the equivalent of 10% of his town's population. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/25/m...

This man deported TEN PERCENT of his town in Texas through a 287(g), including from churches and funerals, after a history of abuses that originally had him kicked off the force. He turned over a 12 yr old disabled kid. The NYT decided he needed a massive profile. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/25/m...

Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning.

In Ingram, Kerr Co, Texas, local police helped the DHS seize roughly ten percent of the entire population of the town and deport them. The economic and social consequences for the community have been devastated. And the police have now concluded they made a serious error in judgment.

This dude lost his job with the Kerr County Sheriff's Department for screwing around on his wife in a county vehicle and lying about it. Faithless men are always faithless. Of *course* he was going to sign up for the 287(g) program. It was more money for him. That's what he cared about. Still is.
