ATLANTIC: “The Pentagon’s chief planner, Army Lieutenant General Brett Sylvia, ousted from the Joint Chiefs of Staff (by Hegseth). No explanation was given. This comes at an inopportune moment, given Trump may be planning to relaunch the war on Iran.” www.theatlantic.com/national-sec...
They say that Hegseth fires every general or admiral he feels insecure or inferior around... and that's just about all of them. And he does this in the midst of a war. www.theatlantic.com/national-sec...
Scoop from @nancyayoussef.bsky.social - Hegseth canned the J5, which is not good if you're about to resume strikes on Iran, because of friction with Bridge Colby
www.theatlantic.com/national-sec...
Eight months into a war with Iran, Pete Hegseth just fired the general in charge of planning it. Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia served 32 years. He's the second J5 pushed out under Hegseth.
With Sylvia gone, who’s planning the war?

ANALYSIS: Firing Pentagon's chief planner before a renewed war with Iran highlights severe institutional instability engineered by Hegseth. DefSec has purged 26 senior officers for perceived political impurity, he is dismantling military's operational continuity just as global conflicts escalate.

Everything Hegseth does — EVERYTHING — is harmful to US national security interests, and motivated by hyperpartisan political considerations. He needs to be the first to go.

There is no need for a general to plan his attack & invasion of Iran or any other Nation because Trump knows more about everything than anyone else

Pentagon’s chief planner, Army Lieutenant General Brett Sylvia, was ousted from the Joint Staff. No explanation was given. This comes at an inopportune moment, given that President Trump may be planning to relaunch the war on Iran. Sylvia, the former commander of the 101st Airborne Division.
This grossly unqualified bigot is destroying our military, just like the rancid Trump regime is doing to the the rest of our institutions.

Pete #Hegseth and Donald #Trump have spent almost 2 years taking America's shields down. We started a war in a part of the world where lots of people don't like us. #FBI director, Kash #Patel, fired the counter terrorism taskforce that focused on #Iran.
Sylvia, the former commander of the 101st Airborne Division, becomes the latest in a long line of senior officers who have been shown the door since Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth arrived at the Pentagon almost two years ago. www.theatlantic.com/national-sec...

At least 26 admirals and generals have stepped down or been pushed out since Hegseth took control of the Pentagon. Last year, Laura Loomer called for trump to fire Sylvia’s son Gavin as a data analyst at FEMA. She said Hegseth “should also review the employment of Gavin’s father, MG Brett Sylvia.”
This is just complete insanity. He commanded the 101st. Hegseth isn't worthy of standing in the guy's shadow. Hegseth called for livestreamed executions a few weeks back. We need to remove these morons from office through impeachment.

I’m literally shocked that no one in our military has taken it upon themselves to solve America’s problems and face the public for retribution …
They would be heroes
This is how they're coercing the military into blind loyalty to Trump, not to the Constitution.

The trump has claimed Iran war victory too many times, and said it was nearly over many more times. Looks like he may ramp up this illegal war again soon.
