We polled Kansas. Democrats wanted to talk. Republicans, not so much.

On the Kansas poll showing Hamilton up 9, WaPo said that they were worried that because Dems had a much higher response rate it skewed the results but they're publishing anyway for transparency's sake www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

This is *really* helpful from WaPo. Their latest poll of Kansas has Hamilton up nine points over Marshall, but there's a giant caveat: They had a really, really hard time getting Republicans to take the poll. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

"Registered Democrats were more than twice as likely as registered Republicans to complete the survey after answering an interviewer’s call — 32 percent versus 12 percent — with a similar partisan gap when texting voters to complete the survey online." www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

WaPo notes reasons to doubt that poll though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Unfortunately they basically admit they're publishing it despite differential nonresponse bias they couldn't fully control against www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Important caveat: there’s clearly some response issues. Still, seems like all the signs are indicating a tied race of not a slight Hamilton lead. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
